Guests come into contact with hosts and security at the front door, over the phone when giving the passcode, and again when entering the facility on the bottom floor. It is of utmost importance that these interactions provide the guests with clear and meaningful instructions as well as great customer service. We want all guests who enter RoSo to feel welcomed and at home. Our mission to create an upscale atmosphere where professionals can be social is achieved by the hosts having service industry attitudes and a desire to help.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Reading all Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) for the purpose of understanding and remembering for the night. Recalling table assignments, passcodes, names of reservations, and all other pertinent information to aid in seating people appropriately and efficiently. Knowledge of server names and sections each night, able to rotate tables equally based on the number of tables/number of guests. Engaging with customers on a daily basis by answering questions and directing them to the appropriate resources. Answering the telephone with the ability to answer all questions or direct customers to the appropriate point of contact. Keep notes of pertinent information such as contact information from guests who have lost items or need to speak to a manager at another point in time. Maintain both upstairs and downstairs host stands in an organized fashion via daily cleaning, organizing, and creating lists of necessary items Take initiative by developing new ways to organize host stand items, seat guests, or offer new ideas for the development of our establishment. Use of SevenRooms and other Ipad/Tablet functions Use of a computer to manage bowling by setting up bowling lanes, changing times, and adding or deleting players Communicating with other hosts and security when there are tables available or if we are full and there is standing room only. Checking the bathrooms on an hourly basis to ensure cleanliness; restocking when necessary.
