Host/cashier

Job Summary Atlantic Buffet is looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Cashier/Host to join our team. This position is responsible for greeting guests, handling payments, answering phones, seating customers, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities Greet customers with a positive and welcoming attitude Seat guests and manage wait times when needed Answer phone calls and assist with customer questions Operate cash register and process payments accurately Handle takeout orders and customer transactions Maintain cleanliness of the front counter and lobby area Assist guests with buffet pricing and restaurant information Help resolve customer concerns professionally Work closely with servers and management to ensure smooth operations Follow restaurant policies and food safety guidelines Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude Ability to multitask in a busy environment Basic math and cash-handling skills Reliable transportation and punctuality Previous restaurant or cashier experience preferred but not required
