Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional service from the moment they arrive. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for guest relations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow. Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service. Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant services. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, for managing reservations and orders. Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy. Support other front-of-house staff as needed during busy periods. Qualifications Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with food service operations is a plus. Experience with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, is advantageous. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
