The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and smooth seating process. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional guest services. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals eager to grow within the industry. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage wait times efficiently Escort guests to their tables and provide menus Manage reservations and seating arrangements using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Handle guest inquiries with professionalism via phone and in person Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure timely seating and service Assist in guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously Uphold high standards of hospitality, including proper phone etiquette and guest interaction Support the team during busy hours by managing guest flow and ensuring a positive dining experience Experience Previous host/hostess experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred Familiarity with food service operations and guest services Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent guest relations skills, including hospitality, serving, and hotel experience is advantageous Professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation are essential Join our team and contribute to creating memorable experiences for our guests through exceptional service and hospitality!
