Opens a new window. Welcome guests, operate POS cash registers, and seat guests in appropriate sections. Provide exceptional guest service to all customers. Recognize, welcome and greet guests. You are creating the guest's first impression of the outlet. Maintain good personal appearance at all times. Because of the high visibility of this position, it is imperative that all hostess/cashiers be friendly, helpful and courteous when dealing with our guests. Responsible for operating Micros terminal, collecting payments and making change. Responsible for monies in cash drawer. Seating guests in appropriate sections at clean tables. Knowledge of outlet layout, menu items and nightly features. Help keep dining area neat and clean at all times (chairs, booths, floors). Perform assigned sidework duties. Report all guest incidents and complaints immediately to supervisor. Perform all other related tasks deemed necessary by management. Smile and make eye contact Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older. Good verbal and written communication skills, in English. Must be able to stand for up to seven (7) hours. Must be able to obtain all required certifications IGRC license. TIPS certification
