Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Hostess/Host join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your ability to manage reservations, greet guests, and coordinate seating will be essential in maintaining the flow of service in our restaurant. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Provide accurate information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies. Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area to enhance guest experience. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Assist in guest relations by addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Support the serving staff during busy periods by assisting with food delivery or drink orders as needed. Requirements Previous Host/Host or food service experience is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS or Micros POS) is a plus. Experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is advantageous. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
