Host 501 E Lake St, Addison, IL 60101 From $15 an hour - Part-time From $15 an hour - Part-time Overview Join our vibrant team as a Host and be the welcoming face of our establishment! In this energetic role, you'll create a warm, inviting atmosphere for guests from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will set the tone for an exceptional dining or hospitality experience. As a Host, you'll manage reservations, greet guests with a friendly smile, and coordinate seating to ensure smooth operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality talents and contribute to memorable guest experiences every day. Duties Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, assisting with reservations and general questions Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area to enhance guest comfort Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service flow Handle guest concerns or special requests courteously, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills Requirements Prior experience as a Host or in food service/hospitality roles preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key! Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Excellent customer service skills, including patience and active listening Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and polished phone etiquette are essential Previous hotel or guest services experience can be advantageous but is not mandatory Join us in creating unforgettable experiences by providing top-tier hospitality!
