Daytime Host/Hostess

Duties Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm and genuine hospitality as they arrive, making them feel instantly welcomed. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating flow. Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely seating and smooth transitions between guests. Answer guest inquiries via phone with professionalism, providing information about menu options, wait times, and special events. Maintain a clean, organized host stand and ensure all guest areas are inviting and well-presented. Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to enhance overall guest experience. Support restaurant operations during busy daytime hours by handling guest requests and ensuring smooth service flow. Requirements Previous experience as a host or hostess in a food service or restaurant environment is highly preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Excellent phone etiquette and guest service skills to handle inquiries professionally. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in hospitality, hotel services, or guest relations is a plus but not required.
