Hostess/Cashier

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Greet guests as they arrive and take them to their seats.
• Manges wait list
• Maintains seating chart
• Provide menus and explains any specials
• Takes 1st drink orders and deliveries the drinks
• Answers phones
• Takes to-go orders (start to finish)
• Sells gift cards
• Help bus tables in downtime
• Spot clean bathrooms during shift
• Keeps hostess station clean and organized
• Assists in setting up and cleaning up during opening and closing shifts
• Assists servers and bar staff as needed Summary As a Hostess/Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience.

Your core skills in customer service and communication will be essential as you greet guests, manage reservations, and handle inquiries. Proficiency in POS systems, including toast, will aid in efficiently processing transactions. With your relevant experience in hospitality and guest relations, you will contribute significantly to our team's success in delivering outstanding service in a vibrant restaurant environment. Qualifications Previous experience as a host/hostess in a restaurant setting Strong customer service and communication skills Familiarity with POS systems, including Toast Background in food service and hospitality Ability to manage guest relations and provide excellent guest services Knowledge of phone etiquette and handling inquiries effectively
