In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help manage reservations, greet guests, and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently. This paid position offers a dynamic environment where hospitality and guest relations are at the forefront of every interaction. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly with a friendly and energetic demeanor, creating a positive first impression. Manage reservations and waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating flow. Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth service operations. Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times and restaurant offerings. Maintain a clean and organized host stand area, ensuring all materials are tidy and accessible. Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their dining experience. Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Skills Proven experience as a Host/Hostess or in food service hospitality roles. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management. Knowledge of restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and guest relations. Ability to handle phone etiquette professionally, managing multiple inquiries efficiently. Previous restaurant experience, including familiarity with serving or hotel guest services, is advantageous. Demonstrated hospitality skills with an emphasis on creating a warm, inviting environment for all guests.
