Duties Greet guests promptly and warmly as they arrive, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere Manage reservation bookings using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about wait times, reservations, and restaurant offerings Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their dining experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless guest flow and excellent service delivery Experience Previous host/hostess experience in a busy restaurant or food service environment preferred Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills and phone etiquette Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Experience in hospitality or guest services roles, including hotel experience or serving, is a plus Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure Knowledge of restaurant operations and guest relations principles to deliver outstanding hospitality Effective verbal and interpersonal communication skills to connect with diverse guests and team members This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow within the hospitality industry.
