Duties Greet guests warmly as they arrive or call in to place takeout orders, providing friendly and attentive service. Accurately take and relay customer orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring order accuracy and timely processing. Manage phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, answering questions about menu items, specials, and wait times. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and promptly for pickup. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station, including menus, order pads, and promotional materials. Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns courteously and efficiently. Support the team during busy periods by managing waitlists or seating arrangements if needed, always prioritizing guest satisfaction. Skills Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and kitchen staff. Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of hospitality standards including guest relations, serving techniques, and phone etiquette. Experience in hotel or guest services can be an added advantage for understanding guest needs.
