Job Description
Aventino Cucina is the highly anticipated Roman Trattoria from the team behind The Red Hen & All-Purpose Pizzerias located in Washington, DC. Situated in the center of downtown Bethesda, Aventino is a high-volume, upscale neighborhood restaurant dedicated to quality food, unique cocktails and warm hospitality. Our menus centers on seasonal produce, Italian traditions and modern innovation. We are seeking charasmatic and professional hosts to join our front of the house team. Ideal candidates will have a genuine appreciation of hospitality, welcoming demeanor and great communication skills. At least one year of experience in an upscale casual environment is preferred. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Managing Resy Reservation software Book ; Timely greeting and seating guests; Answering reservation inquiries, confirmation calls and all other general questions about Aventino; Maintaining front desk stand cleanliness; Ability to multi-task and maintain professionalism within a high-volume restaurant; Proactively plotting the next turn and alerting management of anticipated delays; Coordinating with management in pacing floor volume to maximize seating capacity with a high level of hospitality and grace
