Umi Buffet Position Overview:
Umi Buffet is looking for a friendly, reliable, and organized Part-Time Host to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming experience and ensuring smooth restaurant operations.
Shift Availability:
Flexible scheduling on a weekly basis (no fixed schedule)
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner Clearly explain how the buffet operates (pricing, seating, flow, etc.) Escort guests to their tables efficiently Manage and track headcounts for each section Ensure all guests are seated in the correct sections to maintain balance and service flow Communicate with staff to keep seating organized and efficient Maintain a clean and organized host area Provide excellent customer service and assist guests as needed
Requirements:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stay organized and multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Reliability and punctuality
Compensation & Growth:
Starting pay: $15/hour Opportunities for pay increases based on performance and reliability
Pay:
From $15.00 per hour
