In this role, you will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing seating arrangements, coordinating waitlists, and ensuring a smooth flow of service throughout the dining experience. If you enjoy working with people in a fast-paced environment and take pride in providing outstanding guest service, we would love to meet you. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and create a welcoming atmosphere. Manage guest seating efficiently while balancing server sections and restaurant flow. Maintain and organize waitlists, accurately communicating wait times to guests. Answer phone calls and assist with reservations, inquiries, and guest requests. Escort guests to their tables and provide menus as needed. Coordinate with management and service staff to ensure efficient seating and guest satisfaction. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional host stand area. Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned. Monitor dining room capacity and help ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods. Provide exceptional customer service and professionally address guest concerns when appropriate. Qualifications Previous host/hostess, customer service, or restaurant experience preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly, professional, and welcoming demeanor. Ability to remain organized and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management and attention to detail. Comfortable using reservation and seating systems such as OpenTable (preferred). Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
