We facilitate this by providing excellent customer service and expert LEGO® knowledge for all ages and abilities. We are a family owned and operated buy, sell, trade store that encourages customers to reuse, rebuild, and reimagine with LEGO® elements. Party Host Candidate Description The ideal candidate for Party Host will love entertaining children and managing social situations and will bring high energy, positivity, reliability, and an excellent work ethic to the position. A love for LEGO® is a plus but is not required. Responsibilities Host 90-minute birthday parties, including running the LEGO® racetrack activity (and other activities as requested), overseeing a minifig building activity, and acting as the store liaison for the party. Each party includes a 30-minute break for the party host. Set up and tear down parties, including cleaning the party room as needed Bring high energy and fun to the party atmosphere Handle customer service situations with children and adults as they arise Requirements A love of interacting with people. Ability to guarantee available Saturdays three weeks in advance with no last-minute changes (except for emergencies). Ability to work Saturdays in accordance with party schedule hours. The longest schedule would be 10:30 am to 6:30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid break. Ability to commute to 49512. Position Details Shifts include up to three parties on Saturdays; shifts will be finalized 7 days in advance. Training will be provided on all aspects of the party setup, teardown, activities, and flow.
