Our mission is to provide an authentic Mexican dining experience for all our guests by offering savory Mexican cuisine, friendly customer service and an atmosphere which turns our patrons from guests to Amigos of our chain. We are in search of a friendly, honest and reliable Host/Hostess to join our Livonia, MI Team!Job Summary:
As a Host/Hostess at Los Tres Amigos, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and welcoming first impression. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, seating customers, and ensuring a smooth and organized flow of the dining area. You will work closely with our front-of-house staff to provide excellent service and maintain a positive dining experience for all guests.Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly and courteously as they arrive at the restaurant
- Manage waitlists and reservations, ensuring guests are seated in a timely manner
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus and cutlery
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide information about the restaurant's menu, specials, and policies
- Ensure the front entrance and waiting area are clean, organized, and welcoming
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations
- Assist with special requests or needs of guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of guest preferences and special requests
- Help with other front-of-house duties as needed (e.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred (restaurant experience a plus, but not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, friendly attitude with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift at least 25 lbs.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends
