Hostess Cashier

Job Summary Must have Friday/Saturday/Sunday Night Availability We are seeking an energetic and friendly Hostess Cashier to join our dynamic hospitality team! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing seating arrangements and cashier responsibilities. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will ensure every guest feels valued from the moment they arrive. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing exceptional customer service and guiding them to their tables Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize flow and reduce wait times Handle cashier duties accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing orders and payments efficiently Answer guest inquiries via phone with professionalism, providing information about menu items, reservations, or general questions Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to ensure a welcoming environment Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate guest seating and service flow Uphold hospitality standards by demonstrating excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and guest relations expertise Requirements Prior experience as a host/hostess or cashier in a food service or restaurant setting preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations management Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Previous hospitality or hotel experience is a plus but not required Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Join us in creating memorable experiences for every guest!
