The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage guest relations effectively while maintaining a smooth flow of operations in the restaurant. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction. Provide accurate wait times and communicate effectively with guests regarding their seating status. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy. Utilize POS systems such as Micros POS or TOAST for managing orders as needed. Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service throughout the dining experience. Qualifications Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Background in hospitality or hotel services is advantageous. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential.
