Job Description

Overview We are seeking a friendly and professional Restaurant Cashier/Host to join our dynamic team. This role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and ensuring smooth front-of-house operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and experience in customer service within the food service or hospitality industry. This position offers an opportunity to develop guest relations skills and be an integral part of delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservation or waitlist procedures Seat guests efficiently and coordinate with the serving staff to ensure timely service Operate POS systems accurately for order processing and billing Handle guest inquiries courteously via phone and in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette Manage guest check-in and check-out processes with professionalism and hospitality focus Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area and service floor Assist with guest services such as providing menus, answering questions about the menu, and accommodating special requests Support the team during busy periods by assisting with serving or other front-of-house duties as needed Uphold high standards of guest relations, ensuring a positive dining experience for all patrons Skills Prior experience as a host/hostess or cashier in a restaurant setting is highly desirable Excellent communication skills
Pay:
From $14.00 per hour
