Host / Busser

Lulu's Thai Noodle Shop is hiring an energetic, reliable person who is excited to be the first contact with our guests as our Host. We have multiple shifts available and are able to work around most school and other work schedules. We have a competitive hourly rate along with the tips you will make assisting our amazing customers. To be a successful Lulu's Host / Busser you will: Use your upbeat personality to make our customers feel welcome while bringing assisting them with their food and drinks choices. Greet guests as soon as they walk in the door Assist customer as they ordering our delicious food to go or picking up the food they have already ordered. Learn all about our amazing food so you can help our customers make yummy decisions of appetizers to munch on and cocktails to sip while perusing our menu for their main meal. Once the customers clean their plates, clear them out of their way and see if they've saved room for desert! Reset tables and maintain accurate seating rotation Communicate with your fellow co-workers to make sure everyone is "in the know" which makes life easier on everyone and keep our customers coming back again and again. Qualifications Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha and Micros Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing Summary As a Host / Busser, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service and creating a memorable dining experience. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will utilize your core skills in POS systems, food service, and food safety to efficiently take orders and serve food and beverages. Your premium skills in time management and fine dining experience will enhance guest satisfaction, while your relevant skills in food preparation and guest services will ensure a smooth operation.
