Host/Hostess

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional service to our guests. As the first point of contact for patrons, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements while maintaining high standards of hospitality. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover. Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, specials, and restaurant policies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy. Utilize Aloha POS system for managing reservations and guest information. Provide assistance in other areas of the restaurant as needed to enhance guest experience. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
