Hostess Cashier

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and friendly Hostess Cashier at Lucca Italian Chophouse to join our vibrant team! Duties Greet guests warmly as they arrive, providing exceptional customer service and a positive first impression Manage guest seating by coordinating reservations and walk-in arrivals to optimize flow and minimize wait times Operate POS systems such as Toast POS to process orders accurately and efficiently Handle cashier duties including processing payments, issuing receipts, and giving change with precision Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and cashier area to ensure a professional appearance Communicate effectively with team members, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery Uphold phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or taking reservations over the phone Qualifications Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Toast POS is advantageous Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle guest relations gracefully Knowledge of hospitality standards, including guest services, serving, and hotel experience is a plus Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with phone etiquette and guest interaction protocols Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding guest experiences!
