Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for guest services, and the ability to manage reservations effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet guests promptly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating arrangements using Aloha POS or similar systems. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. Maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods and communicate wait times effectively. Assist with guest inquiries and ensure their needs are met throughout their dining experience. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in the host area. Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. A positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
