In this dynamic role, you will share your expertise in various artistic and craft disciplines, fostering a vibrant environment where participants can explore their creativity, develop new skills, and enjoy meaningful hands-on experiences. Whether working with children, teens, or adults, your enthusiasm and talent will help cultivate a love for arts and crafts while promoting personal growth and community connection. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills while making a positive impact through education and community involvement. Duties Develop engaging curriculum and lesson plan tailored to different age groups and skill levels across your chosen art form such as fiber arts, painting, pottery, drawing, comic book art, and more. All adult or kids workshop ideas are welcome. Host interactive workshops and classes that encourage participation, creativity, and skill development in a fun, supportive environment Manage classroom dynamics by implementing effective behavior management strategies and ensuring a safe space for all participants Provide personalized guidance to individuals or small groups to enhance their learning experience Collaborate with event organizers or community centers to promote upcoming workshops and attract diverse audiences Maintain all workshop materials, supplies, and equipment in excellent condition for seamless class execution Foster an inclusive atmosphere that respects childhood development principles, special education needs, and early childhood education best practices if working with children. Qualifications Experience teaching or hosting workshops within arts or crafts disciplines Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage children, teens, or adult learners effectively Background in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to various age groups and skill levels Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate participants of all backgrounds Knowledge of childhood development principles and experience working with children or students with special needs is preferred when working with children Familiarity with behavior management techniques to create a positive learning environment Additional skills are highly desirable for specialized workshops Join us in inspiring creativity!
