As a Host Cashier at the Beach Café, you'll be the welcoming face that sets the tone for each guest's dining experience while ensuring accurate and efficient cash handling. What We're Looking For 1 year of cash‑handling experience preferred Valid Health Card Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently Comfort with basic math and using a cash register Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays Physical Demands Lift up to 30 lbs and push/pull up to 150 lbs Stand and walk for the entire shift, including stairs Work in hot, cold, smoky, or dusty environments Be Part of Something Legendary This role is all about being the friendly face and steady hand that keeps the Beach Café humming. Guest‑Facing Duties Welcome guests warmly and seat them using a rotation system to maximize service Answer phones with professional etiquette and assist with reservations Communicate clearly with guests, coworkers, and supervisors Clear and reset tables quickly during peak hours—aiming for under two minutes Cash Handling & POS Accurately process payments and return correct change or receipts Maintain your assigned cash bank and complete end‑of‑shift reports Learn and operate the POS system used by the outlet
