Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth operations within the restaurant. The job will require hosting, bussing and food running duties during slower times. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover. Provide menus and explain specials to guests while answering any questions they may have. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area. Assist in coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, including reservations and general information about the restaurant. Address guest concerns or complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Requirements Previous host experience or relevant food service experience is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving practices and guest services. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A background in hospitality or hotel services is advantageous but not required. Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective guest relations.
