As a Host, you'll manage reservations, greet guests with a friendly smile, and coordinate seating arrangements to ensure smooth flow and high customer satisfaction. Duties Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression. Manage reservation systems and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest experience. Answer phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, assisting with reservations or general questions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to ensure a welcoming environment. Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and management to ensure seamless guest flow and service delivery. Handle guest concerns or special requests with tact and hospitality-focused solutions. Qualifications Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in food service is highly preferred. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette. Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Experience in hotel or guest services can be a plus for hospitality environments. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism. Prior experience in serving or hospitality roles enhances your ability to connect with guests effectively.
