Job Description
Lakewood, NY Part-time position for a dining room host/hostess. Spend your summers working at an exciting spot on the lake!! The Chautauqua Lake Yacht Club is currently looking for a host/hostess to join our fast paced restaurant. Candidates must possess the following qualities: No Experience Necessary - Will Train Detail oriented Professional, friendly, team player and multi-tasker Ability to serve food and drinks while accommodating our guests' needs in a courteous and timely manner Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, clean debris up off of the floor, and general cleanliness of the restaurant Transport plates, glasses, and baskets to and from the dining room, service station, and the kitchen about 30 times per shift. Transport glass racks and cases up to 25 pounds (such as a case of beer) up to 15 times per shift Reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills required Strong work ethic, integrity, and detail oriented Can manage their time independently and work under pressure Must be available to work weekends and occasional Holidays/Special Events Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast paced environment Punctual Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time Must have reliable transportation Must be authorized to work in the
