Host Brazen Brewing is looking for reliable support staff who enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced taproom environment.

Host Responsibilities:

• Greet all customers in a friendly and welcoming manner and direct them to their table
• Maintain a wait-list during peak hours & manage reservation -Answer the phone and take takeout orders
• Provide all guests a high level of customer service in a timely and professional manner
• Follow all brewery standard operating procedures and perform duties according to the Front of House checklists for opening, operating hours and closing
• Maintain a clean, friendly, and welcoming environment for all customers always
• Stocking the prep area with supplies including napkins, utensils, and sauce cups filled throughout the course of kitchen service
• Keep the taproom and outdoor spaces clean & presentable by cleaning off glassware/plates/trays & cleaning tables when guests leave
• Returning glassware/plates/trays to the kitchen for cleaning during busy times when dishwashers are tied up
• Maintain the taproom and surrounding areas to company cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Keep managers informed of supply inventory levels
• Assist with closing the taproom
• Other duties as assigned by Manager on duty.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Host experience preferred!
• Passion for customer service with a strong beer knowledge or willingness to learn
• Ability to interact professionally and effectively with employees and our customers
• Self-motivated and able to act independently to solve problems as they occur
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work on weekends, evenings, and some holidays
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and occasionally lift as much as 30 pounds

Pay:

Starting at $17hr & dependent upon experience
