HOST Opening Soon | Ludico by Tribeca Hospitality Group Chef-Driven Coastal European Cuisine Inspired by the vibrant flavors of Spain, Italy, and France. Ludico is an exciting new restaurant concept from Tribeca Hospitality Group, bringing together fresh, vibrant, and transportive coastal European flavors in an elevated yet approachable dining experience. We are seeking a polished, welcoming, and hospitality-driven Host to join our opening team. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, the Host plays a critical role in creating memorable dining experiences and setting the tone for exceptional service. The ideal candidate is warm, professional, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced fine dining environment. Position Summary As a Host at Ludico, you will be responsible for creating a gracious first impression, managing guest flow, coordinating reservations, and ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience. Successful candidates will possess strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hospitality. Responsibilities Guest Experience Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming first impression Escort guests to their tables and present menus Manage reservations, walk-in guests, and seating arrangements efficiently Maintain a professional and engaging presence at all times Assist guests with inquiries and provide accurate information about the restaurant Thank guests upon departure and invite them to return Reservation & Dining Room Management Manage reservations using SevenRooms, OpenTable, and Resy Coordinate seating to maximize dining room flow and guest satisfaction Maintain and manage waitlists during peak service periods Communicate guest preferences, VIP arrivals, and special requests to management and service staff Assist with private dining inquiries, special events, and large party bookings Team Collaboration Communicate effectively with managers, servers, captains, and kitchen staff Support smooth service flow throughout the restaurant Assist with operational needs as directed by management Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entrance, and reception area Administrative Duties Answer phones professionally and handle guest inquiries Confirm reservations and assist with guest communications Accurately document guest notes and preferences within reservation systems Assist with administrative tasks related to reservations and guest relations Qualifications Required Minimum 2 years of experience in an upscale New York City restaurant environment Strong hospitality mindset and guest-service skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Professional appearance and polished demeanor Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to remain calm, composed, and courteous in a fast-paced environment Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds when necessary Preferred Fine dining or luxury hospitality experience Experience with SevenRooms, OpenTable, and Resy Experience working in a high-volume restaurant environment Knowledge of guest relations and VIP service standards What We're Looking For Warm, engaging, and personable personality Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences Strong attention to detail Professionalism and reliability Positive attitude and team-first mentality Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining composure Commitment to excellence and exceptional service Benefits & Perks Comprehensive benefits package available for eligible full-time employees, including: Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Commuter Benefits 401(k) Dining Discounts Wellness Programs Career Growth & Development Opportunities Opportunity to Join an Exciting Restaurant Opening Team Equal Opportunity Employer Tribeca Hospitality Group is an equal opportunity employer.
