Host / Host (Part-Time) — Natural Wine & Small Plates

is a 23-seat natural wine and small plates restaurant in the West Village. We are looking for a warm, organized host to manage our front door four shifts per week. As the first and last impression of the room, the host sets the tone for every guest. You will own the reservation book, manage the waitlist and pace seating, greet and seat guests, answer phones and respond to booking inquiries, and coordinate closely with the floor team to keep service flowing in a small, high-touch space.

Responsibilities:

Manage reservations and walk-ins through Resy Greet, seat, and pace guests to balance the room and kitchen Answer phone and email booking inquiries Maintain accurate guest notes and flag VIPs, allergies, and special occasions Keep the host stand and entry area clean and organized Support the floor team during service as needed

Requirements:

Prior host or hospitality experience preferred Comfortable with reservation systems (Resy experience a plus) Strong communication and a calm, welcoming presence under pressure Available evenings and weekends Must be able to stand for the duration of a shift Eligible to work in the United States We are an equal-opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. Pay:

$34.00 - $40.00 per hour
