Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Restaurant Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. In this vibrant role, you will create a warm and inviting atmosphere by greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements. Responsibilities Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor, making them feel valued from the moment they arrive Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate seating arrangements Coordinate with the dining staff to optimize table turnover and guest flow, maintaining a seamless dining experience Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, providing information about the restaurant and reservation details Assist guests with seating preferences, special requests, and provide information about menu options when needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times Support guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, enhancing overall guest satisfaction Qualifications Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment is preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Knowledge of hospitality standards, guest services, and hotel experience is a plus Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries effectively Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure Familiarity with serving, guest relations, and food service operations enhances your ability to excel in this role Join us as a Restaurant Host/Hostess and be part of an energetic team committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
