This role is responsible for creating a welcoming, high-energy environment while managing the flow of the dining room. You're not just seating guests, you're setting the tone for the entire experience. What You'll Do Greet every guest with confidence, warmth, and genuine hospitality Manage waitlists, reservations, and seating flow to keep service running smoothly Communicate accurate wait times and keep guests informed Coordinate closely with servers and management on table turns and pacing Answer the phone and assist guests with questions, directions, and general inquiries Support the team and assisting where needed Monitor the dining room and anticipate guest needs before they ask Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front entrance and host stand Uphold all service standards, policies, and alcohol awareness guidelines What We're Looking For Hospitality-minded with a natural ability to connect with people Strong communication and multitasking skills Ability to stay calm and organized during high-volume service Team-first attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred Availability for evenings and weekends (PM shifts required) Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs Ability to move efficiently in a high-volume environment Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members Compensation & Benefits $17.00 - $17.50 per hour based on experience Staff meal provided after each shift Paid sick time (per NYS guidelines) Opportunities for growth and advancement Benefits may include health, dental, vision, paid time off, and 401(k), based on eligibility and company guidelines.
