In this role, you will manage guest seating, handle reservations, and ensure smooth flow of the dining experience. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help foster memorable guest interactions, setting the tone for an exceptional hospitality experience. Responsibilities Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor as they arrive, making them feel valued and comfortable Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction Provide accurate wait times and assist guests with seating or waiting areas as needed Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, taking reservations and providing information about the restaurant Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest flow and service delivery Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times Requirements Previous host/hostess experience in a food service or restaurant setting preferred Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional appearance Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience in hospitality, guest relations, serving, or hotel environments is advantageous Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of food service operations and guest services standards is desirable Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality!
