Responsibilities Greet guests promptly with a friendly and positive attitude, making them feel welcome from the moment they walk in. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times clearly to guests. Assist guests with seating, answer questions about menu options, and provide information about the establishment's offerings. Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service and guest satisfaction. Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the host stand area, creating a professional first impression. Requirements Previous experience as a host or hostess in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse guests. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Experience in hospitality, hotel services, or guest relations enhances your suitability for this role. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure. Excellent phone etiquette and guest interaction skills are essential. Prior experience in serving or restaurant operations is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
