Job Summary:
SUMMARY The F& B Host/Hostess will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a positive dining experience. As a Host/Hostess, you will manage reservations, seat guests, and coordinate with the restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous Customer Service experience required. State Issued Food Handler's Certificate. State Alcohol Server Certification. Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to coordinate and multi-task. Professional in appearance and demeanor. Ability to learn, understand, and work within POS, PMS, CRM, and other Hospitality-specific software systems. Ability to deal effectively and interact well with guests, vendors, and team members. Ability to resolve problems and/or conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
PREFERENCES
Knowledge of food and beverage service operations preferred but not required. Previous F& B experience preferred.
JOB DUTIES
Follow Hotel policies with lost and found items. Adhere to Hotel requirements for guest and team member accidents or injuries and in emergency situations. Continuously promote sanitation, safety, and security efforts. Encourage Social Media/5-star compliments or reviews on OTA's.
Guest Reception:
Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon their arrival.
Reservations:
Manage reservation systems, take bookings, and confirm reservations as needed.
Seating Arrangements:
Seat guests based on preferences, balancing the flow of guests throughout the dining area.
Communication:
Coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure efficient operation
Waiting Area Management:
Maintain an organized and tidy waiting area, keeping guests informed of wait times.
Menu Knowledge:
Provide basic information about the menu and specials to guests. •
