(Cashier, Light Fare) We're a mid-to-upscale cocktail bar seeking a reliable, personable team member to join us in a fill-in capacity. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hospitality-forward environment and enjoys wearing a few hats during service. Position Overview This is primarily a Front of House / Cashier role, but with light food preparation for guests. We're looking for someone adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a polished atmosphere. Regular Hours Our standard bar hours are: Thursday - Saturday | 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM About This Role This is a backup / fill-in position. We are looking to train someone who can step in confidently if a scheduled team member calls out or additional support is needed during service. This role is perfect for someone looking to pick up occasional shifts, supplement another job, or stay active in hospitality without committing to a fixed weekly schedule. Responsibilities Greet and engage guests warmly and professionally Manage POS system and handle cash/card transactions accurately Prepare simple, easy-to-execute food items for guests Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting FOH and kitchen area Assist behind the bar when needed (beer, wine, basic cocktails, bar support) Support overall flow of service during peak times Qualifications Prior hospitality experience required (cocktail bar experience a plus) Comfortable handling cash and POS systems Basic kitchen skills and food handling knowledge Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and strong communication skills What We're Looking For A team player with strong situational awareness Someone who takes pride in guest experience Calm under pressure Reliable and punctual To apply, please send your resume and a brief introduction outlining your availability and relevant experience.
