Host/Cigar Specialist -- Puros Cigar Lounge Puros Cigar Lounge and Rare & Rye Steakhouse is seeking passionate Cigar Enthusiasts to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals who genuinely appreciate premium cigars and enjoy sharing that knowledge with guests in a refined lounge atmosphere. We are looking for someone who is personable, confident, detailed-oriented, and passionate about creating memorable guests experiences. The ideal candidate enjoys hospitality, conversation, premium cigars, and upscale lounge culture. As a Cigar Specialist, you will guide guests through our curated humidor, recommend cigars based on their preferences, and help create an elevated lounge experience through exceptional hospitality, cigar knowledge, and beverage service. Responsibilities Assist guests in selecting cigars from our humidor based on flavor profile, strength, and experience level Provide recommendations and pair cigars with bourbon, whiskey, wine, and cocktails Educate guests on cigar origins, tasting notes, and proper cigar etiquette Assist guests with cutting and lighting cigars when needed Prepare and serve curated beverages & cocktails for guests when needed Maintain organization and proper conditions within the humidor Help create a welcoming and upscale lounge atmosphere Support special events, tastings, and cigar nights Qualifications Passion for premium cigars and cigar culture Strong hospitality and communication skills Comfortable preparing basic drinks and cocktails when needed Professional, friendly, and engaging personality Ability to work evenings and weekends Previous cigar lounge, bar, or restaurant experience is a plus Compensation Hourly pay + tips Flexible scheduling Employee discounts Performance-based incentives Opportunity to work in a premium steakhouse and cigar lounge environment Rare & Rye Steakhouse & Puros Cigar Lounge offers a unique experience centered around premium steaks, curated bourbons, and exceptional cigars in a relaxed yet refined setting.
