Hostess - PART-TIME

Valley Brook Country Club in McMurray, PA is looking for

Part-time Hostess Pay Rate:

$15.00 and hour

Core Responsibilities Guest Relations:

Greet members and guests warmly upon arrival, ideally by name, and ensure they feel valued and welcome.

Reservation Management:

Book, confirm, and manage dining reservations using club software, and allocate tables to balance the workload among servers.

Seating Coordination:

Escort patrons to their tables, present menus, and communicate specific requests or dietary needs to the waitstaff.

Communication & Phones:

Answer club phone lines, handle inquiries regarding operating hours, dress codes, and upcoming events.

Floor Oversight:

Monitor dining room activity to control seating flow and ensure timely service.

Front Desk Upkeep:

Keep the host stand organized, stocked with supplies, and menus clean and up to date.

Qualifications & Requirements Interpersonal Skills:

Exceptional communication, a continuously positive attitude, and the ability to maintain composure during busy periods.

Club Familiarity:

A solid understanding of club bylaws, dress codes, and upcoming social or golf events.

Technology Proficiency:

Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, reservation software.

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and sometimes assist with resetting tables or carrying light items.

Availability:

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts Free parking - Employee meal and employee golf
