In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience. Your enthusiasm, excellent communication skills, and ability to manage guest flow will ensure smooth seating operations and foster positive guest relations. Responsibilities Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor, making them feel valued from the moment they arrive Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as ABC POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate tracking of guest seating Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize table assignments and minimize wait times Provide guests with menu information, answer questions about specials or dietary needs, and assist with any special requests Maintain a clean, organized host stand and ensure all guest areas are welcoming and presentable Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information and managing reservations or inquiries effectively Support guest relations by addressing concerns courteously and ensuring every guest feels appreciated and comfortable Skills Proven experience as a Host/Hostess or in food service/hospitality roles, with strong customer service skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly, approachable manner Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable; hotel experience is a plus Knowledge of guest services, serving etiquette, and phone etiquette to enhance guest interactions Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive guest relations and teamwork within the restaurant setting Join us in creating memorable experiences for every guest!
