Hostess/Cashier

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. You will manage the front-of-house operations, including greeting guests, taking orders, and processing payments. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude will be key to enhancing the dining experience for our customers. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the Aloha POS system. Process payments and handle cash transactions with precision. Provide information about menu items, specials, and promotions to assist guests in their selections. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery. Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service at all times. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is an advantage. Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
