Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional service to set a positive tone for their visit Manage guest seating arrangements efficiently, maintaining an organized waiting list and communicating wait times clearly Handle all cashiering duties accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including processing payments and issuing receipts Answer guest inquiries via phone or in person with clear communication and courteous phone etiquette Assist with guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a memorable experience Support restaurant operations by coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to optimize seating flow and service efficiency Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or in food service roles with strong customer service skills Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on friendly phone etiquette Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism Previous experience in hospitality, hotel services, or guest relations enhances your ability to connect with diverse guests Knowledge of serving procedures and guest services best practices contributes to overall guest satisfaction Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing seating arrangements and cashiering responsibilities Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm makes every guest feel valued!
