In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact, setting the tone for exceptional hospitality and ensuring smooth seating operations. Your enthusiasm, excellent communication skills, and ability to manage guest flow will contribute to a lively atmosphere where guests feel valued and eager to return. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead with a positive attitude and elevate our guest services to new heights. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using Opentable Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction Communicate clearly with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely seating and service flow Handle guest inquiries via phone with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information and assistance Assist in training and mentoring new team members in guest relations, restaurant procedures, and hospitality standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times Skills Proven experience as a hostess or in food service, with strong customer service skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage guests professionally Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred Previous restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable, especially in guest services or hospitality roles Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure Strong knowledge of phone etiquette and guest relations techniques Experience in serving or hotel guest services is a plus, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of hospitality standards Join our dynamic team where your enthusiasm fuels memorable experiences!
