Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and exceptional service throughout their visit. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry, working in a dynamic environment that values guest satisfaction and team collaboration. The position is paid and suitable for individuals passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences. Responsibilities Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and managing reservations efficiently Escorting guests to their tables and providing menus with enthusiasm Managing waitlists and seating arrangements to optimise table utilisation Answering phone calls with professionalism, providing information, and taking reservations Maintaining a clean and organised reception area in accordance with health and safety standards Assisting with guest enquiries and ensuring their needs are met promptly Collaborating with the service team to deliver seamless guest experiences Handling guest complaints courteously and escalating issues when necessary Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations is advantageous Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding guest services with a friendly demeanour Good phone etiquette and professional appearance at all times Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required A positive attitude, team spirit, and eagerness to learn are essential qualities for success in this role
