Job Description

Lead Host & Reservations Coordinator — Stella's Southern Brasserie Stella's Southern Brasserie in Hollingsworth Park is hiring an experienced Lead Host We're a locally owned restaurant focused on quality dining service in a relaxed, upscale atmosphere. We're looking for a host who can create a welcoming, friendly environment, deliver professional hospitality for our guests — and lead the way for our host team. This position is the lead host for dinner service and weekend brunch.
The job entails:
Greeting guests and building relationships Coordinating the flow of the dining room Teaching other hosts polished etiquette and genuine hospitality Managing the reservations system using OpenTable software Train, schedule, and lead the host team Handle VIP guests, large parties, and special occasions with a personal touch Resolve guest concerns calmly and proactively, partnering with management on service recovery Collaborate with servers, management, and kitchen to keep seating and flow of service aligned What we're looking for: Prior experience in a host, reservations, or guest services leadership role, ideally in upscale or high-volume dining Strong organizational & admin skills and comfort with reservation/POS systems A warm, composed presence under pressure — you're often the first and last face a guest sees Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays Stella's Southern Brasserie is part of the Stella's Restaurant Group, alongside Stella's Southern Bistro and Rôtie by Stella's.
