Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable dining experience from the moment they arrive. In this role, you will manage guest seating, handle reservations, and ensure smooth flow of service. Duties Greet guests warmly with a friendly smile and professional demeanor, making them feel valued from arrival to departure Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or specials Maintain clear communication with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service flow Handle guest inquiries over the phone with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information and reservations when needed Assist in maintaining a clean, organized host stand and waiting area that reflects our commitment to hospitality Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring every guest feels appreciated Experience Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with restaurant operations Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Previous hotel or guest services experience is a plus, highlighting your ability to handle diverse customer needs Knowledge of restaurant procedures including serving, reservation management, and guest relations enhances your effectiveness in this role Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment Join us to create welcoming experiences that keep guests coming back!
