We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and maintaining the flow of service in the restaurant. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience. Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times effectively to guests. Provide menus and offer assistance with any questions regarding food and beverage options. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed. Uphold cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Assist in managing guest flow during peak hours to enhance overall guest satisfaction. Skills Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent phone etiquette. A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding guest services. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Problem-solving skills with a friendly demeanor to help address guest needs promptly.
