Submit your resume or fill out an online application at: https://fasteddiesbilliards.com/careers/ Responsibilities Greet guests promptly with enthusiasm and genuine friendliness to establish a positive first impression Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate tracking of guest arrivals and departures Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the restaurant's offerings Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate seating arrangements and special requests Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area to uphold high standards of guest presentation Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills Assist in managing guest flow during busy periods to minimize wait times and maximize customer satisfaction Skills Proven experience as a Host/Hostess or in food service roles within a restaurant or hospitality setting Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests and team members Knowledge of POS systems such as RPOWER, Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred Exceptional customer service skills, including active listening and problem-solving abilities Ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Professional appearance combined with excellent phone etiquette and guest relations expertise
