Host wanted for downtown cocktail bar!

• one of Austin's most awarded cocktail bars and event venues
• is looking for a standout host to join our team! Personal qualities of an ideal candidate:

• Graceful and poised, even in stressful situations

• Organized and clean
• Able to multitask.

General requirements:

• Looking for individuals who are available both Friday's and Saturday's (this is a must) as early as 2:00pm (openers in time) and as late as 2:30am (closers out time), shifts are split amongst openers, mids and closers on the weekends, generally 7.5-9.5 hours long; other days of the week required to work are more flexible (weekday shifts are generally 2:30pm-11:45pm, solo)
• Able to attend weekly staff meetings and trainings on Thursday's, between 12:00pm-1:00pm via Zoom
• Must already possess (or attain within three days of hire) TABC and Food Handler certifications
• Must have a reliable means of transportation to and from work.

Familiarity with OpenTable a plus, but not required. Our team is a small team, striving to provide the best hospitality of any bar in the city. We believe that providing great food and great drinks, although vitally important, is secondary to making every guest who walks in the door feel welcome and appreciated. Pay is $14/hr + Tips ($5
